When you see this piece up close you will notice a different texture that’s not consistent with my Mos Def portrait. That’s because it’s actually painted over a unknown artists work. When I found this canvas at Urban Ore in Berkeley CA, it had a large flower with thick texture painted on it. I love working with up-cycled canvases and other odd materials!
